I am associate professor for human biological variation. My work focuses on the evolution and hormonal mechanisms of social behavior and their implications for mental health.
CHARLES EFFERSON
My research focuses on the gene-culture coevolution of human social cognition and behavior in domains involving conformity, coordination, conflict, and cooperation.
ANDREA MIGLIANO
My work addresses how diversity in the hunter-gatherers foraging niche has shaped human specific adaptations such as complex sociality, cumulative culture, and pro-sociality.
JÖRG GROSS
My work explores the determinants of prosocial giving and the dilemma of cooperation, combining lab-experiments, cross-country surveys, and simulations.
